The ‘Assault Trooper’ is a generic term applied to the mix of soldiers that accompany the Salvage Specialists and Officers. These troopers wear standard armour that appears to offer the same level of protection as standard military Light armour.
The armour appears to have an integral air supply and various vision enhancements for night vision at least. Weapon load outs are fairly standard, rifles or shotguns with pistol backup and grenades.
